Last week we got a call from a sweet lady named Jewel. Jewel is from Baton Rouge Louisiana, about 8 hours from our shop here in Dallas. A popular YouTube show featured a professional ceramic coating being installed on a car. Well she was so impressed with what she saw that she started researching how and where she could get her car coated. After looking around locally she decided that she would travel to Dallas and spend the night at a hotel while we had her car here at the shop.

What’s even more interesting is that she wasn’t bringing us a Ferrari or a Benz or a Bentley, she was bringing a daily driver 2018 Honda CRV. Proving that you don’t have to be a millionaire to see the value in installing a permanent coating on your paint!

Needless to say we were truly honored that someone would travel that far just to have Flawless Detail install this coating instead of someone closer to her. But also the fact that this sweet lady saw value in a product that traditional thinking would be only for the most expensive luxurious cars. In fact after seeing her last vehicle, a mint condition 1998 BMW with immaculate 20 year old paint, that she maintained herself with weekly hand washes and wax. After a rinseless wash, we did some mild decontamination and bug and tar removal. After pulling the car into our install room we clayed the paint and finished with a polish for a silky smooth to the touch finish. As with all ceramic coating installs there is a step that is uber important, paint prep, specifically designed to help the coating bond with the paint.
