Can’t I get the same results as a professional?
If you are looking for the most basic answer to the question, then the answer is of course yes. Pro detailers don’t possess some dark magical secret knowledge that the rest of the world cant access. Just like any other skill or learned behavior however someone that does something for a living every single day of their life will have many advantages over someone that just decides one day they’d like to try it. Just as with many things in life there is more than one right way to detail a car but there are far more wrong ways filled with costly mistakes. So lets just get into it shall we?
Lets start with the chemicals and solutions that the consumer has access to vs what the pros have. Where would you go to get all you would need to detail your car? Most people are going to answer Walmart, Auto Zone, or some other big box store. Theres nothing wrong with these products, most if not all of them can be effective for achieving results, but unless you have used them before you dont really know and sometimes the directions for use can be less than helpful.
So youve gone to the store, youve got all the products to detail your car, what about the equipment? On our trucks and in our shop we have tens of thousands of dollars invested in equipment that is time tested and effective. Shop Vac, carpet extractors, air compressor , power washer, polishers of all shapes and sizes are just the beginning pf the specialized equipment list needed to properly detail a car. More than likely one of these would surpass the budget of paying a pro to detail your car. But maybe you already have some of this stuff maybe even all of it lets say for the sake of argument. The one resource that you cant recoup is time.
Like I said before we do this for a living! Im sure whatever it is you do for a living you are good at, if I tried to do what you do for a day theres a good chance Im going to run into issues that cost me time and possibly more. Something that takes us 3 hours could potentially leave you working double that simply because there is no familiarity to the work the flow from one procedure to the next is not as smooth.
So is it possible to achieve the same results as a pro detailer, yes, but in the end are you spending more time and possibly money than you would just paying a pro? The higher probability for a positive outcome is going to be calling a pro. Unless you are just a DIY pro that loves to do it yourself than of course we are going to recommend calling Flawless Detail for all your car detailing needs!
